Most people shop for health insurance once a year under pressure — rushing through a 40-page plan document the night before open enrollment closes. That's how bad decisions get made, and how good people end up under-covered, over-paying, or both.

Fair Care Health exists to flip that. I'm Brandon Fair, a licensed health advisor based in South Tampa, and my job is simple: understand your situation, translate the jargon, and put you in a plan that actually fits. No bait-and-switch. No disappearing after the application goes through. No selling you a policy I wouldn't put my own family on.

Before this, I spent years in growth and operations — which is a long way of saying I've seen what happens when companies optimize for themselves instead of the person in front of them. Fair Care Health is built the other way around.

The honest FAQ.

How much does working with you cost?

Nothing. My advisory service is free to you — I'm compensated by the carriers when a policy is placed, and those commissions are built into the rates whether you use an advisor or not. Using me doesn't cost more than going direct; it usually costs less because I can match you to the right plan.

Do I have to switch doctors?

Not if we plan it right. Before recommending a plan, I check each network against your current doctors, specialists, and preferred hospitals. If staying in-network matters to you, it's built into the criteria from the first call.

What if I'm self-employed or 1099?

This is most of my practice. Self-employed clients often have more flexibility than they realize — HSA-eligible plans, short-term bridge coverage, spouse-network options, and ACA subsidies that scale with income. We'll map the whole picture.

What happens after I enroll?

I stay with you. Card questions, claim disputes, provider changes, mid-year life events, renewals — same phone number, same advisor. You're not getting handed off to a call center.

Can you help with dental and vision only?

Absolutely. Many clients already have medical through an employer or spouse and just need a dental or vision plan. These can be standalone, and enrollment is typically quick.
